This document lists the traditional sugt'stun names for places throughout the Chugach region identified in Frederica De Laguna's "Chugach Prehistory" (1956) and Kaj Birket-Smith's "Chugach Eskimo" (1953). Jeff Leer uses this document to re-write these traditional place names using the Chugach Sugt'stun and Eyak orthographies that were established in the 1970's through the Alaska Native Language Center at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
