Born to George and Jennie Vlasoff (fourth child), Anne Jackson describes her childhood chores, helping Elders, her family history, life in Chenega before the earthquake, working at the post office, and her memories of the 1964 Earthquake and Tsunami in Chenega, living in tents after the earthquake, language education in the community, religious songs, her Native identity, childhood games, taking care of Elders, and more.
This interview contains two parts: Side A and Side B. Both interviews were taken on the same day March 16. 1998
