Wild Edible & Medicinal Plants: Alaska, Canada & Pacific Northwest Rainforest, Vol 2

Carol Biggs is an Applied Ecopsychologist, with a wild edible and medicinal plant avocation of more than 30 years. She has authored, photographed and published 2 full-color, beautifully photographed pocket field guides to wild edible and medicinal plants of Alaska, Canada, and Pacific Northwest Rainforest. Each pocket trail guide features 37 different wild edible/medicinal plants of the temperate rainforest of North American, with common and scientific plant names, habitat, and general edible and medicinal information. Available Tlingit plant names have been provided by Marie Olson, a Tlingit Elder of the Alaska Native Sisterhood, in recognition and honor of indigenous cultures everywhere who have given the world valuable knowledge. Carol has provided a nature session in each guide, featuring a marmot in volume 1, and a porcupine in volume 2 ... in recognition and honor of all creatures who have given us valuable knowledge.
