Copper Nuggets
Small raw copper nuggets.

In Chugach trading networks, copper was a treasured commodity. Chugach people likely acquired copper by trading with Eyak and Ahtna groups that had access to rich deposits near the Copper River. Copper could be used to create knives, and was frequently traded alongside materials such as green stone, caribou skin, and various tools. For Eyak and Tlingit communities, copper also made for fine jewelry, decorated shields, and much more.
