John Johnson:  Greenstone.  Predominant stone of the region.  A very hard stone.  Green stone, polished down to split wood, wars, and mounted on wooden shaft. This is often found on beaches.

William Smith:  how was the stone polished?
They found a stone that has the same strength to polish it.

John Johnson:  Slaves they caught from other villages had to make the tools for the community as it was such a tough job.
