This film documents the week of August 27 - September 3, 2006 when community members from Nanwalek, Port Graham, Seldovia, Savoonga, Kenai, and Homer came together to share and celebrate dance, song, art, food, and other Native traditions.
From August 27 to September 3, 2006 the communities of Nanwalek, Port Graham, Seldovia, Savoonga, Kenai and Homer participated in a Gathering event that brough communities together to share and celebrate dance, song, art, food and other traditions. The video captures participants qayaing, sharing food at the potluck, Native Youth Olympics competitions, and music and dance.
