A collection of accounts of traditional life in Port Graham told by community members and collected by the students of Port Graham School.
Written by Port Graham High Schools Students in cooperation with the Federal Bilingual Programs Office of the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District, this book includes photographs, maps. illustrations, recipes and stories pertaining to traditional life in Port Graham. Students interviewed residents and created this collection from those stories and conversations. Topics discussed include a short history of Port Graham, respect for Elders, masking, Russian Orhodox traditions, building a log cabin, jams and jellies, preparing fish, traditional remedies, and many more.
