Deborah McMullen:  Once the grass is high enough you cut it with a knife, bundle them and let them hang to dry. There are different kinds of grass.

Dawn Randazzo:  You use you nail to split the grass/ to strip it of the middle part. Weaving is one continuous piece. No knots. As you are weaving you add it in, thin to thick part.

Brandon Moonin:  Grass weaving: Splitting the grass down.

Dawn Randazzo:  You use your nail to take out the middle part of a blade of grass.
