Deborah McMullen:  Her brother made a similar one, maybe using red cedar. It's bigger than this one and really beautiful. He could potentially do a reproduction for the museum.

Brandon Moonin:  Bird head looks like a cormorant (shag). Elders have told Brandon before to watch the birds, because they show you where to fish.  Chiefs and Elders would sit around ceremonial bowls and tell stories as well.

Raymond Eric Clock: Bowls with animal heads most likely ceremonial.
