Tatianna Turner: The bead work on the headdress has been done similar to the one on the hat for men. (ID Number: IV A 6174)
Vince Evans: It's rare to see this design, might be from up the river from Yupik area. Traditionally a lot of women wore scarfs (Russian influence). Area was a trading post.
